This class covers the basics of gluten free cooking and baking, understanding how to work with gluten free flours, how to read labels at the supermarket and other safe supermarket shopping tips, substituting ingredients and converting recipes. Please note this class will be mostly discussion and may involve a supermarket trip for those that would like to. We may also make one simple recipe so you can see first hand how to bake with gluten free ingredients e.g. scones or muffins.

Description

  • The price of this ticket is for a one-on-one class with up to two people in attendance from the same household e.g. a couple, mother and daughter.
  • Once booked we will email you to confirm a mutually agreeable time, date and location for the class. Once that is confirmed if you are subsequently unable to attend the class we will refund you on the following terms, as cost will have been incurred by us in preparation for the class;
    • we’re notified more than 5 days out from the class date = 100% refund
    • we’re notified 5 days or less out from the class date = 50% refund
  • The price includes travel to a location within the Tauranga region only (the boundaries of included travel are at our discretion).
