It’s that time of year again when we give serious thought to where the year has disappeared to and what we want to achieve in the year to come. Are you like so many other people, myself included, where health is right up there on the top of the resolutions list?
Let’s be honest, after the indulgences of Christmas most of us are conscious of wanting to slim down, make healthier food choices and eat better overall in 2016.
For me in the coming year I want to focus even more on clean eating (making food from scratch to eliminate additives and preservatives and unwanted ingredients), getting the balance between enjoying baking and other treats right (made even more tricky because we are test baking recipes every week, but someone has to do it!), as well as creating many more interesting and nutritious meals for myself and the family to enjoy.

As it’s summer in New Zealand right now January’s recipes will be perfect for enjoying in warmer weather, using seasonal produce like fresh berries. We are busy putting the finishing touches on the recipes and look forward to sharing them with all members on the the 10th Jan 2016.
